ABSTRACT
Nowadays, more than 485 million people in the world suffer from cardiovascular diseases (CVD). According to
large epidemiological studies, the group of CVD is the leading cause of death in the world. One of the
neurohumoral mechanisms that appears to be a risk factor for CVD is thyroid dysfunction. In this regard, in recent
years, more and more attention is paid to the study the influence of subclinical hypothyroidism on the occurrence
and development of cardiovascular disorders.
